UI Design
Project Overview
Redesigned the digital experience for Lululemon, a leading Canadian athletic apparel brand, to enhance online engagement and strengthen the connection between the brand’s performance-driven identity and its global audience. The project aimed to modernize the e-commerce experience—focusing on personalization, storytelling, and seamless shopping—while aligning with Lululemon’s core values of mindfulness, movement, and technical innovation. The redesign sought to improve product discovery, simplify the checkout flow, and create a cohesive ecosystem that reflects the brand’s community-driven lifestyle across all touchpoints.

Challenges:
Maintaining a consistent visual identity while expanding the site’s functionality for multiple regions and languages required a highly adaptive design system. Balancing brand storytelling with conversion-focused UX—especially in the product detail and checkout pages—demanded careful hierarchy, spacing, and interaction design. Another major challenge was harmonizing Lululemon’s editorial content (community, events, and wellbeing initiatives) with the e-commerce experience, ensuring users could flow naturally between inspiration and purchase without friction.
Achievements:
The redesigned experience resulted in a more immersive, emotionally engaging, and high-performing website. Enhanced navigation and refined filtering increased product discovery efficiency, while the simplified checkout flow improved conversion rates. The modular component library accelerated development cycles and maintained brand integrity across global markets. The final delivery included a fully interactive Figma system with responsive breakpoints, developer handoff specs, and accessibility-compliant components—positioning Lululemon’s platform for continued growth and innovation.
Role:
As UX/UI Designer, I led the end-to-end design process—defining user flows, creating interactive prototypes, and shaping the visual system in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. My role also involved aligning the digital experience with Lululemon’s evolving brand narrative, ensuring that design decisions reinforced their core message of mindful performance.
Approach:
I began by analyzing Lululemon’s customer journey and identifying key behavioral patterns—focusing on intent-driven navigation, community engagement, and frictionless conversion. Early wireframes emphasized intuitive pathways between product discovery, fit guidance, and checkout. Through iterative testing, I refined the information hierarchy to balance visual calmness with commercial goals. The final high-fidelity designs combined editorial storytelling with scalable UI components, creating a premium, human-centered e-commerce experience aligned with Lululemon’s philosophy of movement, wellness, and innovation.
